Guidelines for the Incentive Grant for Teaching Assistants of English-Medium Instruction (EMI) Professional Courses

To encourage teaching assistants at the University to provide additional in-class support for English-Medium Instruction (EMI) professional courses, thereby enhancing teaching quality and improving student learning outcomes, and in alignment with the Ministry of Education’s Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College (BEST), the University hereby establishes the Guidelines for the Incentive Grant for Teaching Assistants of English-Medium Instruction (EMI) Professional Courses.

Eligibility & Applicability

Teaching assistants eligible for this incentive grant (hereinafter referred to as EMI Teaching Assistants) must be appointed in accordance with the University’s Regulations for Teaching Assistants Supporting Course Instruction. The incentive grant is applicable only to teaching assistants serving in EMI classes that are approved under the Faculty English-Taught Course Incentive Program for the given semester.
